Andrew has spent most of his career in Asia directing major projects. He is a Director of the Asian and Australian office of Populous, which is based in Brisbane, and a member of the world wide Board.

He is currently working on a number of projects in South Korea including the Main stadium for the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, which illustrates a new level of sustainable design in stadia in Asia. The stadium will hold 70,000 people for the games and will reduce down to a single sided grandstand for 30,000 afterwards as a People’s Park for the city of Incheon.

Andrew is also project director of several cricket projects in India including the Jaypee Cricket Stadium in Greater Noida, near New Delhi, which will host national and international cricket matches.

Andrew directed the Nanjing Sports Park in China and was the project director of the MCG5, the architecture team responsible for the redevelopment of the MCG for the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Andrew’s experience in negotiation and business means he works at the highest levels of Government and Industry in Asia. He believes Asian cities are increasingly looking to host a wide range of Events as a way of putting themselves on the international stage.
