Christopher Lee is a Senior Principal in Populous’ New York office. He has worked around the world for major international sports clients and designed some of the most high profile stadia from his native Australia to UK, Europe and the Americas. These projects include the award winning Emirates Stadium for Arsenal Football Club in London and Aviva Stadium (Lansdowne Road) in Dublin Ireland.

Christopher is currently leading the design of the AIA award winning 50,000 seat stadium for the Fútbol Club de Monterrey Stadium, in Monterrey, Mexico and is the lead designer of two 2014 World Cup bidding stadia; the Estádio das Dunas Natal, Rio Grande do Norte and the Arena da Floresta in Rio Branco, Acre.

Christopher is a regular lecturer at New York University Graduate School and guest critic at the Bartlett school of Architecture in London and the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture in New York.

He is a frequent speaker at conferences around the world on the architecture of sports buildings and their role in our cities and popular culture.
