Rick Martin is a managing Senior Principal of Populous and has more than 30 years of experience as a project manager and project architect. He typically serves as principal in charge with ultimate responsibility to the client. His project experience features an extensive portfolio of multipurpose arenas including NBA/NHL, civic and collegiate facilities.

Rick served as principal in charge of the downtown Kansas City arena, Sprint Center, and also has served as principal in charge of such projects as Philips Arena in Atlanta; the Toyota Center in Houston; Puerto Rico Coliseum in San Juan and World Arena in Colorado Springs.

Rick received his bachelor's degree in architecture from Kansas State University. He is a registered architect and is NCARB certified. He also is a member of the American Institute of Architects; the International Association of Assembly Managers and the IAAM Foundation Board; Stadium Managers Association; the National Association for Sports Commissions and the Council for Urban Economic Development.

Additionally, Rick chairs the Dean's Advisory Board of the College of Architecture Planning and Design at Kansas State University, and is a trustee of the Kansas State University Foundation.
