Populous designed the Dow Diamond - home to the Class A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. It is the first minor league ballpark to incorporate true 365-day use with its ability to enclose 20,000 sf of exhibition space. Fans can enjoy the game from one of the ballpark's 600 premium seats or from the comfort of the covered party deck.
The stadium features amenities like outfield fire pits, a multi-level team store and picnic area. Sustainable elements were incorporated into the design. Bricks from a former nearby building were crushed and used to line the warning track and photovoltaic solar panels on site create enough energy to operate the scoreboard for one year.
Dow Diamond was Ballpark Digest's Ballpark of the Year for 2007.
